and separate entrance may be available for an additional fee. High season: Apr 15 - Oct 15 (also Christmas Dec 19-Jan 6, Easter & March Break Mar 10-20). The remaining time is low season. The week generally goes from Saturday to Saturday: arrival 2pm, departure 10 am. There may be some flexibility when possible. Fees include a few basic staples in the kitchen and cleaning supplies. A security deposit is not required, however, you are responsible for any damage to the property, breakage or extraordinary expenses above the normal cleaning. You may either replace the damaged items or offer an amount equivalent to the value of the item. The value of any damaged items can be determined with the help of Jacopo based on information in the house inventory. Charges for
heating in the colder months are variable depending on usage. The range is 50
– 150 Euros per week depending on consumption. In winter, a cash
deposit of 150€ is payable at the beginning the rental period. At the
end of the stay, the gas meter is read and you will be charged or re-imbursed
accordingly. Fresh linens and towels will be supplied once a week. There are
no laundry facilities on site but local cleaners (lavanderie)and self-serve
laundromats can be found in the towns of Foiano della Chiana, Montepulciano
Stazione and Sinalunga. A cellular phone is available for emergency use. There is no charge to receive calls. If you need to make long distance calls, you will need to purchase a phone card to replace the credits used. Instructions are in the house manual on site.
